DENTAL IMPRESSION DISINFECTANT

HTM 01-05 requires that impressions should be disinfected with specific cleaning materials
noted in the CE marking instructions.

Continu Dental Impression Disinfectant is safe to use on all types of impressions from
alginate to silicon without causing any shrinkage or distortion. This CE marked product has
been shown in independent laboratory tests to inhibit fungal growth for up to 15 days and
may be used either as a spray for instant disinfection or a bath for longer term results.
Supplied in 1 litre bottles with 20 adhesive labels to comply with section 7.1c of HTM 01-05.

MOUTHWEAR DISINFECTANT

This mint flavoured disinfectant enables patients to sanitise their removable mouthpieces.
The CE marked Continu Mouthwear Disinfectant is safe to use and, with the same hazard
rating as water, it will not cause any degradation or distortion to appliances. The mint
flavour also leaves a pleasant taste when mouthwear is replaced following disinfection.
The product is supplied in a box of 20 x 100ml spray bottles for Practices to sell to patients.
